Description: RECHARGE from Hanover existed from 1992 til 1998. After the Silent Screams 12" which was kept 99% in the early DISCHARGE style, the lyrics went German and the music harder with the release of "Hamburg '42". The critic loved them. The man on the street, too. After their Japan tour in 1996 where they were first defrauded and then insulted by the organiser, they released a split EP with EXTINCT GOVERNMENT from Tokyo. After their rather CONFLICT and German punk-sounding LP "Menschen, Hass, Vernichtung" and a further split EP (this time with EXTERNAL MENACE from Livingston), they broke up in 98.
