Details: Fantastic repro 7” of this super rare raging hardcore split single from 1982 from WRETCHED and IDIGESTI. It comes with stamped sleeves, red labels and all three inserts. An original would set you back nearly one thousand Euros. WRETCHED debuted on their 1982 split EP with INDIGESTI. The music the band created was furious and raw, with trashed guitars, shrieked vocals, and barely-holding-on drums. Although they originally sang in English, they soon switched to ther natice Italian, finding it better suited to expressing their radical political message. The band took strong anti-war and pro-anarchist stands through their lyrics and imagery.

Details: The Bait is their new recording , a seven track 12" including a rendition of ANTI-CIMEX's Sister Daylight . It was recorded in Belgium during August of 2011 at the end of one of their European escapades and mixed and mastered at various locations in UK during the following 12 months. Lyrically and musically Nailbiter are often compared to PAINTBOX, DEATH SIDE and late era ANTI-CIMEX. They paint bleak visions of day to day existence in this miserable world. Housed in a beautiful jacket designed by the guitarist Carlos Hiroshima The Bait is a record for people who know there is not a better world and live for the now.

HARD SKINS - We’re The Fucking George LP

Details: 2012 and recession hits hard. Hard Skin need money. Johnny Takeaway's fruit and veg stall is fucked. you know what i mean?? proper fucked. His kids need feeding and the missus is going mental. So over 10 pints and a bag of pork scratchings they came up with the idea of starting their own label. So here is record number one on JT Classics which does what is says on the tin. Has Johnny Takeaway on it and is Classic. 'We're The Fucking George - Singles 1978 - 1981' has 15 tracks on it compiled from singles and released between 1994 and 2011. The geezer who did the artwork got the dates wrong and it was too fucking late to change.
In case you haven't heard Hard Skin. You are missing out!! They are fucking brilliant. It's Oi! but done like the old days when it was good. Ploddy, angry, basic and anthemic.
The LP doesn't come with a download because real Skinheads don't use computers.

IMPALERS – demo 7”

Details: Normally I’m not a fan of pressing demos to vinyl, but this is certainly an exception. These chaps are from Austin and play some ripping metal-tinged D-beat. The vocals have a cool, tunnel-y echo effect and the riffs are bona fide (although a couple of the solos are a bit over indulgent). You need solid guitar work in bands like this; otherwise the songs can be super-generic and instantly forgettable. Luckily, these guys can really shred. I’m stoked to see this band at Chaos in Tejas and am expecting that their live show will meet, if not exceed, the ardent nature of this records. Highly recommended for everyone, not just genre fans.
