Details: FANTASTIC RE-ISSUE OF A GENRE DEFINING ALBUM NOW AVAILABLE IN DOUBLE GATEFOLD, 180GM TRANSPARENT RED SPLATTER VINYL.
Details: AMON AMARTH – a name like an insurmountable cliff, like a towering wave, like an all-destroying hammer blow, like the epitome of power! Even Thor the Thunder God himself would be awestruck if front man Johan Hegg, one of the greatest stars of today's metal world, and his cohorts drew near. “Twilight of the Thunder God” is the title of their new album, which has to follow in the monumental footsteps left by its predecessor “With Oden on our Side”, the record that propelled AMON AMARTH to the forefront of the entire metal scene. Looking at the readers' polls of such illustrious magazines as Metal Hammer, the band can be found in the Top Ten of almost every (positive) category. The group has even managed to claim a lasting place in the Best Band of all Time list among its permanent residents SLAYER, METALLICA, AC/DC and MOTÖRHEAD. But still, mainstream isn't part of AMON AMARTH's vocabulary, even into their seventh studio album. The five-piece ravages and pillages more vehemently than ever before with timeless hymns, their very own and uncomparable melodies, their harsh riff attacks, their epic moments and a Johan Hegg delivering the performance of his life. “Twilight of the Thunder God” is the viking metal sword among chart-oriented plastic, Thor's Hammer on the head of the enemy, a battlefield for real men, the ultimate triumph of the Vikings. AMON AMARTH – the most popular and relevant extreme metal band of the year!
Details: One of the earliest of the Norwegian black metal bands to form (aptly named after a Venom track) the bands 20 year history is littered with tragedy and controversy. Details: Dating to 1997, Norway’s 1349 – aptly named after the year the Plague hit Norway in the 14th Century – found immediate cult status with recording and later release of their self-titled mini-album in 2001. Both Candlelight full-length albums (Liberation – 2003 & Beyond The Apocalypse – 2004) received top honours from the world’s most critical Metal / Rock publications and this, their third, is promising to follow suit. Once again it presents 1349’s already respected super fast black metal (powered by Satyricon’s super drumming man-machine Frost!!) that recalls the true glory of the scenes early sounds. You will be burned!!

Details: No doubt about it, whether you think Deicide are a real threat to Xianity or a comic book laced horror, this band DEMANDS a reaction out of you like a tiger tearing into your limbs. Their now-classic debut bursts with minor, dissonant and diminshed riffs with all the subtley of a nuclear battle. The Hoffman brothers, Steve Asheim, and the ever-controversal Glen Benton tried to make the most demonic slab of metal ever to rise from the depths. Blasphemous, raging, raw, primal, Satanic, you name it, they've got the musical nightmare down.

Details: My adventure with metal music has started in the middle of the 80s. Those were the times of communism in Poland, times of poverty and limited opportunities and times when one could only buy vinegar in the shops. The only music medium widely available was a cassette tape. That's why today I treat all the tape releases, that are becoming more and more popular all over the world, with sentiment and enthusiasm. I like tapes not only because they have a sentimental value for me but also because they demand from the listener a higher level of involvment. While listening to a tape, one cannot instantly move 3 tracks back or 2 tracks ahead. Here, one needs to get engaged in the music and listen to it from the beginning to the end. I like cassette tapes, unless the tape gets stuck inside the player hehehe. But the most cult medium is obviously vinyl. What's the reason for this introduction? It's here because Bestial Invasion Records has given birth to the tape 'Horrors from Hell' of Finnish SADOKIST. A beautiful, fully professional release, that one can hold in their hands with much enjoyment. A red casssette with printings, full-colour inlay and fully satisfying musical content gives us an ideal product. There are two tracks authored by the band and a SARCOFAGO cover. Satanic black/ thrash/ death metal with a typical for Scandinavia minimalistic approach to musical expression. For every maniac of the real underground sounds and tapes this material is a must!! Buy it, support such initiatives, fuck mp3 files, xeroxed inlays and home-made tapes. Here you have a true rarity made by a maniac for other maniacs.
Details: Ther's no other option: guys from DH just love CELTIC FROST from thier early days! Not only the music, but also the logo/graphics are inspired by this cult band, but nobody can blame them for worshipping the messiah of death/black/thrash metal! Of course DH don't want to be copy of Gods, so create a bit different, strange and simultaneously fresh and dying sound! Interesing? For sure it is, especially when DH put some nice slowdowns, and short solos. Vocals are similar to TGW Warrior, even the echo is in same way, but DH vocalist (chymm... ther's no lineup showed, buit ther's must be at least two members, one from Holland, second from France) don't scream "UGH" time to time heh. Only two tracks, but good stuff, for first concant with DH (and thier first release ever) should be engouh. I know DH now recording "Armegeddon" cover for an new BATHORY tribute, and an song for an new split. RUST, a bit older and a bit more expirenced band (before this split, RUST unleash two annother demo/eps), also plays black/thrash in oldshool way, but thier VENOMous music is much more brutal and furious, like a mix of VENOM and old teutonic thrash bands, like SODOM, KREATOR or DESTRUCTION RUST of course put also thier own feeling on this music, if we comparee them to DUNGEON HAMMER, then RUST music is a bit more modern (but still 80's!) and much more faster! Anyway its strange that RUST use two tracks from thier prevorious material instead of recording something new? Maybe these swedish guys are same as BEHERIT 20 years ago, and spend cash for to studio for drugs and alcohol hahaha! Nice, gateold cover is prinited on awesome flat paper (so forgot about problems with finger traces). rUST
Details: Great 7" split with bands inspired by Motorhead, GBH, Warfare on a yellow vinyl!
Details: # A 7 track d-beat attack from the woods of northern Sweden.
Details: So this is a plate with 3:1 Personal Collected Works. From the demo "The struggle against occupation" for the last 7'' 'Ruins' + a bunch of songs from collections and a previously unreleased track. Semi has released it, and it was also semi-finished products which released the band all the tiles while they were active. For a sissy like me so I can say that just over 77 minutes Persons 3:1 becomes damn much, but it's me ... the album is structured so that it starts from the end of the disc and then takes up the demo, contrary to how they then released. Glad to hear how they drove down more and more metal in the raw points for each release. Of course there are the varying quality of both audio and materials because they have a lot of drop on his conscience. I personally think that they two end plates they did is in a class by themselves and they will be good enough for me. So it is' Ruins' 7''and "The Glorious Dead" CD / LP 's I mean, so there is more than I seldom failed to go disc. But where is it damn good crust / raw punk with metal influences and some nice loops lurking. As I said, it might be fun to see how the band evolved over the years and how good they actually were on them last releases, but it's doubtful that I will run the entire disc someone again? (blog as f**k) # Basicly everything Recorded by Persons 3:1, Now Collected Into One CD.
# 29 songs Whereas the act shows the development from 2003 to 2007.
